Yosemite Park. U.S.A.

We hired a car from San Francisco and drove South East for 4 hrs until we arrived at Oakhurst, the town at the entrance to Yosemite Park (and no its not where Yogi Bear lived, that was Yellowstone Park, incase my mothers reading this). On the first afternoon we drove into the park and climb (in the car) to about 11000ft above sea level to Glacier Point. Once we stopped we took a short stroll to see some awesome views over the park and of the Half Dome, here we watched the sunset, which was truly amazing. Before heading back down to our accomadation for the night. We did head into town for a bite to eat which was hard work, a typical middle of nowhere kind of town, and then tried to finish the night off with a game of TenPin bowling, but when we went in the guy behind the counter said they were full despite there being at least 3 lanes not in use. I guess as we weren't "local people" we weren't wanted.
The second day we drove right into the heart of the park, again we were treated to some magnificent views of rock formations, forests and waterfalls, this place i can truly say is far more spectacular than the Grand Canyon and thats saying something.
