Rottnest Island

Went to rottnest island yeasterday absolute paradise and with the gorgeous weather to match it was a great combination. After a wonderful swan river cruise to fremantle learning all about the rich and famous and other historic facts we landed onto rottnest island and picked up our hire bikes and off we went. Saw some amazing scenary crystal blue ocean and glorious white sand and the snorkelling was amazing saw stingrays, huge assortment of fish and gorgeous coral. Lee was chuffed to bits as he found 'Nemo'!! and went home happy. Well we cycled for a total of 25km bloody killed me and as you can imagine i moaned for the majority of the way especially with all the hills but we made it even though my flip flop kept falling apart at the seams and my arse died with all the cycling and only relalised my brakes did not work when we were going down hill so that was fun too. One of the highlights of the trip was seeing the quokkas they come from the wallabie family gorgeaous little creatures had fun playing with them and one even tried to come for a ride with us by climbing into Lee's rucksack.
All in all a great day and we finished the day with a drink watching the sunset before catching the ferry back home!!
