Perth, Part 2

Well after our rocky start in perth we have finally settled and have found professional jobs me as a call centre operator for the Accor hotel and resorts group and Lee as a panel beater! and we have also found accomodation we are renting a fab two storey two bedroom house enough room for all of our belongings which is only two rucksacks so not much really!
well after our crabbing adventure Jules and Jeremy and Jules' folks invited us down to Dwellingup in the south of Western Australia to their holiday home. A beautiful country retreat set in beautiful surroundings. Decided to go swimming and kyaking in the river whilst we were there and this is where my drowning experience occured. Lee, Jermey and me were all kayaking down the river when Lee and Jeremey decided it would be funny to flip the kayak with no warning to myself so as you can imagine sheer panic when the kayak was flipped with me underneath it i could of killed them an unvoluntary swim i did not want but it turned out the swim was fab and definitely cooled me down in the intense heat so Lee and Jeremey were slowly forgiven. Also went four wheel driving with Jules dad as the driver the roads took no merecy and away we went it was fab then off for wine and cider tasting and it was free so definitely took part and felt quite tipsy afterwards.

The weather remains absolutely boiling hot most days in the high 30s with high humidity. Luckily as boring and mind numbing my job is at least its air conditioned unlike Lee who has no choice but to work in it repairing smashed up cars! oh well!
Working for approx 3 months which we have already done 6 weeks of those thank god. As much as it is nice to have place to oursleves cannot wait to hit that open road again and start on our adventures once again. Plans already in motion for our Western Australian adventure.

Going to Rottnest Island for a cupole of nights soon to relax, snorkle and just to chill out so that should be fun. Experienced Australia day here loads of fireworks and air shows cool day espeically teaching the foreigners how to play shit head and they loved it shithead is now going global! Hopefully it will be in Las Vegas in no time and Lee can also be the all time Vegas SHITHEAD as well!!

Whilst here we have visited Cottesloe Beach beautiful beach but v hot on the day we went so only lasted about two hours and that was in the shade god we are useless!! so obviously our tans are coming on a treat!. Finally had my hair disaster sorted and am now a brunette goddess thank goodness for that!! Blonde never sutied me and never going to happen again. Also vistied Freemantle fab historic town where the first convicts were brought over fron the uk going to do a night tour soon. lee cannot wait as he thinks i will be scared to death but i think it will be the other way around.

Went to Perth Zoo last weekend. It was Lee's first expeience and the Zoo was fab only small but well spread out and its a sanctuary and helps to protect endangered species so Lee was happy. Saw loads of cool animals including the famous koalas' and kangeroos and plenty of spiders and talking of spiders Lee has had many experiences whilst taking bumpers off of having red back spiders crawling up him but i went one better and got my self bit by a white tail spider. Foot is a bit manky and will scar but feeling loads better and when i went to see the doctor she just said oh well at least you have got a souvineer of australia to take home with you and the good news is that the bite will be with me for the rest of my life and will keep swelling up and going manky on and off for the rest of my life, cool!!

Also headed to scarborough beach beautiful but slightly windy even though it was 30 degrees. Still managed to have a great time in the sea even though it knocked us about my a million and one waves whilst trying not to drown as the rip took us under definitely need a body boead i think.
